Carmen joined CopperEye in June, 2007 as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services and was promoted to CEO in February, 2008. Prior to CopperEye, Carmen was the Chief Operating Officer of MessageLabs (sold to Symantec in 2008 for 4.8 times revenues), the integrated messaging and web security managed services company. During Carmen's tenure, MessageLabs' revenue grew from $40M to $120M. Before joining MessageLabs, Carmen gained technology and management experience in various Silicon Valley software and services organizations. Her roles included Vice President of Global Services for BroadVision, Vice President of Client Services for Caresoft and Director of Operations and Product Development for Healthtrac.
Duncan has been on the cutting edge of information technology for more than 25 years, including eight years in database systems in the telecommunications industry and three years at Oracle. Duncan is the inventor of CopperEye's patented indexing technology and, as CTO, provides the vision and direction for product enhancements and innovations. Prior to founding CopperEye, Duncan worked as a leading strategy and product consultant for Convergys. In 1992 he founded Xi Systems Ltd, delivering customer care and billing systems to worldwide telecommunications providers. The company grew to 50 employees and was sold to Convergys in 1995.
Mick has over two decades of Engineering and IT industry leadership experience in both start-up and large enterprises. Prior to CopperEye, Mick was Senior Vice President of Global Solutions and Services with COPAN Systems, a storage solutions company that developed the first enterprise MAID class of storage. Prior to COPAN, Mick was Senior Director for EMEA Customer Solutions & Services at Pillar Data Systems. Prior to Pillar, he held several management roles at EMC Corporation. Before joining EMC, Mick was with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he specialised in e-Business and Information Management solutions.
David is a proven technology leader with more than 23 years experience in IT. He has been responsible for implementing a number of complex Service Oriented Architecture projects and delivering large scale solutions across a range of industries. Prior to joining CopperEye, David was employed as the Enterprise Architect for SunGard Public Sector, shaping solutions for the UK emergency services and Criminal Justice Service. He was the Director of Architecture and Design for '3', with overall responsibility for the end-to-end IT solution for the UK launch. He also chaired the '3' global architecture group before founding Wiser Consulting, a 3G consulting practice, responsible for assisting a number of European telecommunication organizations develop their 3G offerings.
Andy has spent the last 20 years creating, developing and selling multi-million dollar contracts for technology companies across the EMEA region. After 8 years as a top salesman at Sequent Computer Systems (generating 4% of the group turnover in one year), he ran the entire Telecommunications practices across several EMEA territories for EMC. He then spent 4 years growing a sales team for a company acquired as a whole new business line by EMC, building the customer base from 8 to 1100, and up to a run rate of $100M. Andy then joined Acopia Networks as Vice President of Sales EMEA where he drove several multi-million dollar opportunities into the Finance market before managing the integration of the Acopia team and customers into F5 Networks after its acquisition.
