Carmen Carey, Chief Executive OfficerMember of the Executive Board
Carmen Carey joined CopperEye in 2007 as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services and was appointed CEO in 2008. Prior to CopperEye, Carmen was the Chief Operating Officer of MessageLabs, a privately held integrated messaging and web security managed service organization with 16,000 customers and millions of end users supported by a 24x7 globally distributed infrastructure. Before joining MessageLabs, Carmen gained her technology and operations experience in Silicon Valley-based software and services organizations. She is the former Vice President of Global Services for BroadVision, where she ran the professional services division for the Americas. Carmen previously held the role of Vice President of Client Services for Caresoft, where she was responsible for product delivery and support of Caresoft's web-based disease management suite of services and was the Director of Operations and Product Development for Healthtrac, a disease and demand management product and services Company providing packaged healthcare solutions for large employer groups and managed-care organizations. |

Paul McCafferty, Founder and Chief Operating OfficerMember of the Executive Board
Paul McCafferty is a proven technology manager with more than 16 years of experience with a variety of database and application technologies. As CopperEye's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. McCafferty is responsible for managing research & engineering, customer support, professional services and European Sales. Prior to founding CopperEye, Mr. McCafferty was an independent consultant during the establishment, launch and the first six months of operational business of Virgin Mobile, the UK's fastest growing wireless company, where his responsibilities included defining and managing business requirements, resolution of operational issues and delivery of new marketing proposals. Mr. McCafferty also served as Product Support Manager for Convergys, where he was responsible for the management of the Product test, delivery, support and training teams. This included the management of the Oracle Database Administrators group, with overall responsibility for the performance of the end-to-end solutions. |

Duncan Pauly, Founder and Chief Technology OfficerMember of the Executive Board
Duncan Pauly possesses more than 21 years of senior technical experience, including eight years in database systems for the telecommunications industry and three years at Oracle. He has widespread experience in product architecture, design and strategy for such leading technology and telecommunications companies as Vodafone, Oracle and Hutchison Telecom. Mr. Pauly is the inventor of CopperEye's patented indexing technology, and as Chief Technology Officer continues to provide the vision and direction for product enhancements and new innovations in the CopperEye product line. Prior to founding CopperEye, Mr. Pauly worked as a leading strategy and product consultant for Convergys. In 1992 he founded Xi Systems Ltd, delivering customer care and billing systems to worldwide telecommunications providers. The company grew to 50 employees and was sold to Convergys in 1995. Mr. Pauly is extensively published and is a recognized expert in the database field. |

David Helps, Chief Solutions Architect
As Chief Solutions Architect, David Helps is responsible for developing future opportunities where CopperEye technology can be deployed into existing or emerging markets. Mr. Helps is a proven enterprise architect with more than 23 years experience in IT. He has been responsible for implementing a number of complex Service Orientated Architectures and delivering large scale solutions across a number of sectors, including defence, finance, telecoms and government. Prior to joining CopperEye Mr. Helps was employed as the Enterprise Architect for SunGard Public Sector, shaping solutions for the UK emergency services and Criminal Justice. He was the Director of Architecture and Design for ‘3’, with overall responsibility for end-to-end IT solution for the UK launch. He also chaired the ‘3’ global architecture group before founding Wiser Consulting, a 3G consulting practice, responsible for assisting a number of European telecommunication organisations develop their 3G solutions. As an independent consultant Mr Helps also assisted the definition and launch of Virgin Mobile and Orange. |
